Who uses it
Independent tuners, workshop benches, and ECU desks that already work with master read tools. The app is built for licensed professional use, not for casual or roadside work.
App introduction
Project X is a Windows desktop tool for workshops that already read and write ECU files. You load a binary from a master tool, choose a solution, and get a processed file for that controller family.

Emissions and immobilizer changes can be restricted depending on the country and how the vehicle is used. Confirm local rules before you take a job. Project X processes files you already have. You still verify the result on the bench before anything is written to hardware.
Walkthrough
The header shows the user, expiry, remaining daily limit, and credits. A connected seat can run a solution.
Choose the solution, then the car and controller. If the file is known, Project X can match it from the support list. If not, pick the family from the list.
Drop the BIN or click Open. Patch stays disabled until a file is loaded. After a run, read the process log before you write the file.
Modules
Immobilizer solutions for current vehicles. Used in workshop jobs such as ECU swaps and lost-key work where local law allows it.
Diesel aftertreatment solutions and related maps and DTCs on supported controllers.
Gasoline catalyst and lambda solutions plus related DTCs on supported files.
Factory speed-limiter solutions, plus a DTC module that recognizes a large set of software numbers.
Original ECU files for supported vehicles, used to compare or restore a known stock file.
Recalculates checksums and CRCs after edits so the file structure stays valid for the controller.
The support list also includes Stage, Virgin, NOx, OPF/GPF, flaps, start-stop, pops and bangs, and other workshop solutions. Coverage depends on the exact software number and is updated regularly.
Bosch EDC17 and MED17, Denso, Delphi, and Siemens families are the core. New controllers are added during the subscription.
Search by module, brand, or controller family on the support list.
